VPAC in Vail is becoming a hot destination for visitors due to its wide range of fall events.
If you ask a local resident where to look for fall concerts in Vail, the Vilar Performing Arts Center (VPAC) is sure to top the list. The idea of a central theater was in the minds of Beaver Creek residents since the town was founded, and the Vilar finally filled that niche in 1998. Since then, the Vilar has become a prominent cultural force, featuring a wealth of events that highlight the community's rich diversity. The Vilar hosts an eclectic choice of events throughout the year, ranging from children's stage performances to exotic, cultural musical performances. The Vilar is a state-of-the-art facility housing a 535 seat theater, two 2,200-square foot lobbies, and the May Gallery Patrons Lounge right in the heart of Beaver Creek. The design is cozy and inviting, bringing to mind the design of traditional European halls but fashioned to sit comfortably among the rural beauty of the area.
October is an exciting time for events in Vail, featuring a collection of events that range from stage shows to musical performances which are targeted at both adults and children. The schedule for 2015 October events at the Vilar Performing Arts Center includes:
