Meet The Lodge & Spa at Cordillera’s New Executive Chef!

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to The Lodge & Spa at Cordillera’s New Executive Chef, Collin Smelser!

Chef Smelser, a Colorado native and New England Culinary Institute graduate, joins the Cordillera Lodge team after honing his culinary skills throughout the Centennial State at the Sonterra Grill, Antlers Hilton and Plate World Cuisine, all located in Colorado Springs. Prior to his work in Colorado Springs, Collin worked at The Cliffhouse Inn in Manitou Springs and Baccaro Ristorante in Boulder.

Passionate about food, Collin has perfected the art of handmade pasta and brings with him a unique creativity and desire to create truly exceptional culinary creations for our dining guests’ enjoyment.

Collin’s responsibilities as The Lodge & Spa at Cordillera’s Executive Chef includes overseeing the culinary teams at both Mirador Restaurant and Grouse on the Green.
